BLACKTAC was appointed Tasmania agent for the 'Plexipave surfacing System' in 1986 a natural progression from the full construction of tennis courts, netball courts, basketball courts and recreational areas already undertaken by the company.

Since then Blacktac has surfaced or re-surfaced over 600 courts throughout Tasmania and been involved with several projects on the mainland and New Zealand.

The 'Plexipave' surface is ideal for tennis, netball and basketball courts, school recreational areas, also for roller blading, walkways and cycling tracks. 'Plexipave' is available in various colours and the surface can be tailor-made to suit different applications.

Blacktac also offers a cushioned acrylic system which has been installed at the Hobart Domain Courts, Lindisfarne Tennis Club, Greens Beach Tennis Club and several private installations.
